The UK's only open-air anime festival – a delirious and colourful celebration of all things cool and kawaii, with cosplay contests, manga drawing and karaoke competitions galore, and 20+ stalls selling Japanese sweets, kawaii good, street food, and more.
23rd-24th JuneLaunching the festival, a crammed-packed weekend of Japanese music and performances, traditional children's games, workshops and street processions, as well as a profusion of shitamachi-style stalls selling all sorts of street food and Japanese goods.
22nd June - 1st JulyHŌMU will feature The Paper Cinema, an exclusive screening of 'The Ring' (original version), the Catalyst Club (Japanese edition), a whiskey tasting evening with the inimitable Dave Broom, and another outing of Tokyo Sounds – a showcase of new of Japanese music. The highlight of the week will be a Japanese-themed Supper Club night with the wonderful CanTina.
